Lucky for you, we have big plans. There is the end of the first season of Kid Amnesia (which was on ice since Esmir took a well deserved break before lettering the English text into the comic strips) and we're proud to announce the new artist who will take over for Season 2: Velid Agovic .



Velid was born in 1989 in Bar, a small coastal town in Montenegro.
As a huge fan of comics and cartoons,from an early age he shows interest for drawing and other visual arts. After he moved
to Sarajevo, he finishes his primary school education and the Secondary School for Applied Arts.

Graduating from high school he joins the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, but decides to stop his studies. Since then, he works as a character animator in a local production company.

First stop - Damjan colored my illustrations for the book.



I myself did some more illustrations, for the magazine 5 Plus.



I've colored the first one...



... and Eda colored the second one.



I also did some test pages for a publisher, but I'm not allowed to show them to you except a peek.



Here's a sample from a space comic I'm currently doing (these images aren't in sequence).



Some fresh (finished last evening) illustrations for a leaflet for students.



I also did some poster designs.
You know the one for 4th Exhibition of Bosnian Comic Book Authors? The same image/design is currently used for the same exhibition in the city of Mostar.



Fondacija Cure employed me ( which is kind of flattering thing as I'm not a girl) to make a poster for Feminist Workshops Tour. A hand made sketch was transferred to vectors and I designed the typeface myself.



Not to finish this post with only drawings I made as commissions, I did draw a thing or two for my own entertainment.

Remember those caricatures I did for Leipzig book fair. Well, in the end it all worked up perfectly well and they used my drawing. Here's the final design.

4th and 5th page of the comic I'm doing (but this is old, I've already finished 7th but I didn't scan them).




I've finished the not - so - much - a - comic - as - a - illustrated - story Dijana.
No finalized scans yet but here's a photo.




Placed side by side the drawings make an interesting line (which I say is purely accidental but nobody believes me).




I also did a illustrated comic/joke for something or somebody (whatever, it's not important) but it wasn't what they were looking for so it's another drawing that will only "live" on this blog.



Also I have a whole bunch of new sketches in my sketchbook but Emir is inking one of my drawings in it and that means you will have to wait until I have the sketchbook back to scan it.

Until then, this is all you get. Well, it's a mega-post so you shouldn't be disappointed.

In other news, we have a couple more updates worth of Kid Amnesia episodes, after which it will be time for us to take a short break and for AMNESIA THE SUPER-HERO to come back! Yes, the second book is finally out on the stands all around the Balkans and it's selling like cupcakes (edt. Emir: You WISH! Filip: Yes, yes I do...) so the English version will start updating right here sooner than you think. Until then, please drop us a line if you care!
