Max's big vacation
I have a friend in France who has a small kid called Max and she asked me to draw a poster for his bedroom. I decided not to draw a specific drawing of a firetruck or dinosaurs or whatever small kids are up to now, but to draw that kid in many different actions and, most importantly, let him do the coloring. And, with help from his parents, letter the speech balloons too. This is going to France by mail next Monday and I have my fingers crossed that Max likes it.
This was also a nice exercise for a new project Emir has in store. But more about that once it moves past the "new-blank-page-on-the-drawing-board" stage.
This comic was originally drawn in Bosnian language and was then translated to English by my friend Emir Pasanovic. If you think the joke isn't funny, that's probably his fault. Just kidding :)
