Hitulididi comic won the EUphoria competition
Local, Sarajevo, radio station, Radio Sarajevo, held a competition called EUphoria for artists to show their creativity on subject of Europhean Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The competition lasted for six months and I’ve submitted three comics (see them below) with one of them written by Emir Pasanovic.





And, surprisingly I won a monthly award.

But since then a lot of great work was submitted for a chance to win the final award: a trip to one of European capitals.

Yesterday, the winner was announced and - I won again!

I was so surprised and amazed and speechless and nervous that I couldn’t post the news yesterday. But today I can.

The jury decided that my comic capture symbolically the bitter/funny lethargic way of thinking among Bosnian citizens (regarding the Europhean Union) and disrespectful attitude towards the prosperity of Bosnian society.

And I thought my comics ware just, well, funny.

The city I’m going to will be agreed based on my wishes (I can go anywhere?! Wow!) and since Emir wrote the script for one episode he gets a picnic backpack which is, like, the best thing since the invention of sliced bread!
