It's that time again - the second Kid Amnesia in full color! And a little back-story to those.
The idea of Amnesia playing one sport or another was a no-brainer - he just had to have an activity outside of school. And I decided he had to be good at it, even though he will forget he is all the time.
But technically he's not playing football in these comics. Even though I couldn't make myself use the word 'soccer', European school children don't play football in mixed teams, so to speak. And especially in our part of the world, it is often perceived as a "man's game". So the girls are often left-out, which I consider a great injustice.
Since Amnesia, technically, lives in the US, I could remedy that easily enough, so that the first girl we meet in the first week of Kid Amnesia adventures, Amanda, comes back to play him in this week's comic.
For the time being, Amnesia will play football only once every two months in color. But when the time is right, I will make a longer 6-strip story. You can count on that.
This Thursday saw me and Esmir get a publisher's award for our work on Kid Amnesia at the 8th Belgrade Comic Book Festival, which is held from 30th September till 3rd October. More information at skc.org.rs
We'd like to thank the organizers and especially Igor Markovich from System Comics.

I'm working on another quickie comic for FHM Turkey. The trouble is, with 8 images per page filled with action/characters it can hardly be called a quickie. I have no idea where the text will fit (or what font size it will be... what's the smallest readable? 6pt?) but it is one heck of an action packed comic. It has even more action than Wolverine comic I did in May.
Here are the pencils. Expect the inked pages as soon as possible (I will have to use 0,05 pen to ink all these details).
Remember that thing I made some time ago? Well, I'm getting warmed up to do it properly.
Here is another image, from the same supposed series, done in ink. As the work progresses I'll post more of it so eventually you'll figure out what's it about.
